Dictionaries

When you are learning a new language, you need to use a dictionary to look up the words you don't know. In Japanese you also need means to look up the Kanji. Because the Kanji have no alphabetical order, before the Internet age, it was way more difficult to find the Kanji you need. Now you just draw the Kanji and get the answer.
Here two web dictionaries that will help you with the studies:
They are basically have the same features, but have some minor differences.


Jisho - easy to draw the characters you need.


Tangorin - for signed users have an option to easily organize personal dictionary.
