The web site of NHK World supplying around fifty short lessons of ten minutes each. The lessons are supplied in seventeen languages and containing dialogus, grammar and culture explanations. all the lessons are accompanied by a written material. All the lessons can be downloaded and lessened to repeatedly.
I found this site two years ago (2014) and downloaded all the lessons. I was listening to them on my MP3 player or in the car. at the beginning it was so hard for me to understand, that I thought to give up all the idea. But as time passed, the words started to make sense. I didn't make a lot of progress with the lessons (stopped around lesson six) because of my other studding. But now I have more free time and twenty minutes or so to work and back, so I'm planning to return to thous lessons.
To make this post I have entered the site again and was surprised to find out that the lessons have changed. When I downloaded the lessons, the story line was about Cuong, a man from Vietnam who came to Japan to work. But now the story is about Anna, the international student from Thailand. Also the content of the lessons changed. It's nice to know that I can keep learning from this site new things.
For the ones who disappointed that the previous lessons are gone, don't be. I found apps on Google Play that have all the dialogues from the Cuong story. Here is one of them in English, but you can find the story in other languages.
